President Wavel Ramkalawan chaired a scheduled meeting of the Cabinet yesterday, Wednesday November 30, in which a number of policy and project memoranda were approved.
In the contest of Seychelles’ trade policy being articulated towards building a diversified, more resilient, and open economy that is fully integrated globally, Cabinet was briefed on the status of the different multilateral, bilateral and regional trade agreements that Seychelles is party to or negotiating.
Cabinet also approved the negotiating strategy for Seychelles on the different multilateral, Bilateral and regional trade ngreements. The Negotiating for Seychelles endeavors to protect the national interest in every trade negotiation.
Cabinet approved the new development plan for the Beau Vallon regatta site.
The site will consist of a sports complex, an entertainment area, multi-storey car park, food, beverage, artisanal and excursions kiosks. A green area will also be available for children’s play.
