Vice-President Meriton receives Morrocan delegation

Vice-President Vincent Meriton this morning, met with a high level Morrocan delegation led by the Director General of Agence Marocaine de Cooperation Internationale, Ambassador Mohamed M. Methqal. The delegation which is here on a 2-day working visit comprises of officials from various sectors of government, namely Foreign Affairs, Agriculture, Health, Fisheries and Tourism and they will be meeting with their countreparts in Seychelles during this brief visit. During the meeting, both parties expressed the desire to continue to strengthen collaboration between the two countries. The Moroccan delegation also took the opportunity to extend an invitation to the Vice-President to visit Morocco this year, with anticipation for the said visit to coincide with a Joint Commission meeting. The Kingdom of Morocco and Seychelles established diplomatic relations on 17 December 1988.
