New Ambassador of the Republic of CAte d’Ivoire Accredited

The new Ambassador of the Republic of CAte d'Ivoire to Seychelles, His Excellency Mr. Amos Djadan Koffi, presented this morning his Letters of Credence to President Danny Faure at State House.

This accreditation was welcomed by President Faure as a new opportunity to bring a new dimension to the partnership between the two countries, both bilaterally and multilaterally.

President Faure and Ambassador KOFFI discussed the possibilities of further strengthening cooperation in various fields such as trade, entertainment, culture and tourism.

They said that their shared vision of Africa's future invites them to join forces in the service of the continent's development, justice, democracy and peace.

They stressed that their common membership of the African Union and the linguistic affinities that binds them through French, are in this respect, important assets.

Ambassador Koffi hailed the success of the Seychellois athletes at the Games of La Francophonie that recently took place in CAte d'Ivoire.

Ambassador Koffi is based in Pretoria.
