Cabinet Office holds first Cabinet Press Briefing

In line with enhancing Governmental communications and accessibility of information, the Cabinet Office will hold briefing sessions for the press on the day following Cabinet meetings.

The first Cabinet Press Briefing was held at State House this morning, following the first Cabinet meeting of 2018 yesterday.

The Cabinet Office Panel present to answer questions from members of the media included Secretary of State for Cabinet Affairs, Mr Mohammed Afif, Deputy Cabinet Secretary for Policy Affairs, Ms Margaret Pillay, and Deputy Cabinet Secretary for Institutional Affairs, Mr Johny Bastienne. They provided further clarity on the Cabinet Memoranda discussed, decisions taken, and the way forward.
